6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 

‍7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

‍8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

 

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 

‍12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 

‍13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

 

3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;

 

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
